LM-700 is a new hand carved, limited-edition
F-style mandolin model from The Loar. The LM-700 carries a retail price of
$1399.99 and comes with a deluxe hard shell case. Only a limited number of these
instruments will be made, but no specific number has been announced.
The new Loar Hand Carved Mandolins are a
tribute to classic design techniques. From the hand carved, hand-graduated top,
back and sides to the Abalone/Mother-of-Pearl Flower Pot headstock inlay, these
mandolins were built to represent Golden Age craftsmanship updated for the
modern era.
Carved and assembled in the Loar Design Studios, then hand-rubbed with
nitrocellulose lacquer for clean, warm tone and powerful projection, these
mandolins offer sounds that could only be previously found in instruments that
were decades-old. The Loar offers
you the sound of history, available today.
